The youth festival under the cooperation between colleges of Arkhangelsk and the Norwegian festival UKM finished on last Sunday. This time it was held in the capital of Pomorye – in Arkhangelsk.
During the first two days both Russian and Norwegian students shared their experience and worked on creating projects together. The youth were working in three spheres: dancing, design and music. The teachers of the Arkhangelsk Culture College and Arkhangelsk Musical college and the professional dancers of the city held master-classes for the participants.
The result of their work was the concert that took place in the musical college. The Norwegian and Russian musicians and dancers presented performances together, and during the brakes the audience could see works made by the Russian-Norwegian group of designers in Tromsø this year. During the weekend our Norwegian guests were visiting two museums where they got familiar with the history of Arkhangelsk and the history of ship building in the city.
The leaders and the participants of the festival were positively impressed and expressed their intention to work further in the near future.
