Are you an active youth (18-30), speak good English and are interested in international cooperation? BRYC is now looking for representatives from Finnmark, Västerbotten and a own indigenous peoples representativ.
The Barents Regional Youth Council (BRYC) consists of one representative from each county in the Barents region, as well as one indigenous representative. BRYC works to strengthen cooperation and Barents identity among youth in the Barents region.
Being a part of BRYC means representing the youth in your region and engaging in actual international cooperation with youth from Finland, Norway, Russia and Sweden. We are now looking for active, responsible persons between 18-30 years old, who are knowledgeable about youth activities in their region/community, and want to work for the youth in their region.
We are looking for:
One representative from Finnmark
One representative from Västerbotten
One representative of indigenous people

Despite long distance and different history, Indigenous Peoples issues and challenges all over the Barents region. The Norwegian Barents Secretariat’s work to promote Indigenous Peoples projects aims at connecting people across borders and vast distances.
Unge miljøaktivister og kunstnere fra Norge og Russland møtes under Barents Eco Art Academy for å skape en grønnere og bedre verden.
For å løse alvorlige miljøutfordringer i Barentsregionen, må naturvernere på tvers av grensene samarbeide, mener Natur og ungdom, som har fått 850 000 barentskroner til sitt russlandsprosjekt.
