The purpose of the project is to issue an open digital map and present local and regional infrastructure that can be utilized in the ongoing and future oil- and gas activity at the shelfs in the border areas between Norway and Russia. The Eastern part of Finnmark, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk are the target areas. Such infrastructure may be port facilities, storage areas, airways, railroads, internal- and external road connections. The results of the project will be open. Drilling companies, sub-contractors, service providers, and Authorities can utilize the data from the project. The data will stimulate to border crossing economic activity and new working places in the border area between Norway and Russia.
