Barents Youth Forum 2020 has a great developed background being a result of "Future Leaders of the Barents Region" work and based on cooperation agreement between Troms Fylke and Murmansk oblast Duma (Youth Chamber of Murmansk region). Active youth during these years made different separate projects and now a decision of making a common meeting based on the Program 2019-2022 created in 2018 by the youth of both countries in the previous gathering and realize the planned activities and preparing a big Autumn Youth Conference in Finnmark.
