Street Theaters Festival opened

Over 50 open-air performances on the streets of Arkhangelsk this week.

The 17th international Street Theaters festival opened in Arkhangelsk on Monday. This is one of the central cultural events in the biggest city of the Barents Region and by far the most colorful, picturesque and funny festival that the citizens may see right on the open air in the very different corners of the city.

This year the festival is participated by 12 theaters from Italy, Spain, UK, Slovenia, France, Poland and Russia. Traditionally the festival IS opened by the great parade along the pedestrian street in the center of Arkhangelsk. All the next week Arkhangelsk will enjoy over 50 open-air performances and final show on the biggest square of the city on Sunday.
