New employee at our Arkhangelsk office
There have been several changes in the Norwegian Barents Secretariat’s Arkhangelsk office this year. This summer the office changed its address from the Pomor University to Pomorskaya Street 16, right in the centre of Arkhangelsk. In the same period our good colleague Ludmila Istomina has decided to end her work for the Barents Secretariat. For the Barents Secretariat it has been a huge loss of an experienced, resourceful and linguist person. We wish Istomina all the best of luck and look forward to the next time we meet.
Our new employee Anastasia Sazhenova has started her job in the Arkhangelsk information office one month ago. Before Anastasia was working in the Association of oil and gas suppliers “Sozvezdye”. Her first time at work in the end of August and September was some hectic start up weeks in the office, preparing for the opening of the new office and the Norwegian honorary consulate to Arkhangelsk. Sazhenova is now looking forward to getting better acquainted with the Barents Cooperation and her new job in Arkhangelsk. She will be of assistance to all people visiting the Barents Secretariat office in Arkhangelsk.
Anastasia has graduated the faculty of foreign languages of the Pomor State University and now has perfect knowledge of English and German looking forward to study Norwegian language in the future. Originally Anastasia is from the city of Kotlas which is the fourth biggest industrial center of Arkhangelsk oblast and the southern center of the region with well-developed transport infrastructure and huge pulp and paper industrial cluster. Today Anastasia is improving her competence studying financial analysis, audit and accounting in the Arkhangelsk International Institute of Management. Her hobbies are cooking, travelling and study of foreign languages. We wish Nastya good luck and professional success in our friendly Barents.
