Areas of priority

The Norwegian Barents Secretariat also administer several smaller funding programs within certain areas of priority. These are established to enhance special topics which are considered especially important for the Barents Cooperation. 

The establishment of special funding program has always had a very positive effect on the number of good cooperation projects, and targeted funding programs are very important to maintain an active cooperation.
