Luzin Institute for Economic Studies of the Kola Science Centre and Norut Tromsø will explore the practical, economic and knowledge based possibilities for a new project on Russian –Norwegian economic cooperation and labor migration. The possibilities of broadening the theme to include the petroleum and mining sector and environmetal issues in the same or other locations will be examined. The aim of the project is to develop a new and bigger project, following up on the unique previous eperience from fieldwork and analysis in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
