The goal of the Arctic Frontiers Student Forum (AFSF) is to bring together twenty Bachelor and Master students from the Barents region of Norway and Russia and to build a platform for peer-based learning and professional development. This forum creates a cross-border and cross-sectorial arena for the students to deepen and develop their understanding on Arctic issues. The AFSF occurs concomitantly and in coordination to the Arctic Frontiers conference from the afternoon of the 31st of January to the 3rd of February 2022, and it therefore gives the students the chance to being actively involved in the conference activities. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainties related to the opening of the borders, the AFSF will be held in two simultaneous hubs in Norway (Tromsø) and Russia (Arkhangelsk).
