­­Independent freelancer artists, mostly from the Barents region, have come together for the first time to make a comforting theatre performance about death, and life after death. To discover a unique combination of dance, mime, live music and personal texts on stage.
They aim to find a healthy, responslible way of communication about death, which can change the way of thinking about life, and dealing with losses. Using the memories of people who experienced clinical death.
They also aim to create strong connections to the actual situations of the war, trying to find a healing way to discuss, and to unite the different perspectives working on this project together with Russian and Ukrainian collaboration partners.
The premiere of the performance will be in Samovarteateret, Kirkenes, in the end of February 2024, and there will be another show in the Vårscenefest 2024, in Tromsø. An online version will be made as well for the Ukrainian and the Russian collaboration partners.
