Presents from Norway to Russia for Christmas

Children do not only love getting presents, they can also be the ones who make presents! Norwegian boys and girls from Hesseng kindergarten made presents for Christmas to their Russian friends.

Children from kindergarten in a small Norwegian town Hesseng prepared a pleasant surprise. Each of them made a present for Christmas to their Russian peers. They gathered toys,  dolls, cars, pencils etc, wrapped them in a beautiful paper and tagged with the age and gender of a child. All presents were put in a big sack, and together with a representative of the Norwegian Barents Secretariat were sent to Russia.

For children from Lightning bug and Cloudberry kindergartens in a town of Kola (Murmansk Oblast) this was a small Christmas miracle. They were happy to receive presents from  Norway. In acknowledgment they sent their own hand-made Christmas cards to Norwegian children.  and would really like to meet them in person one day.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
